    What exactly is the Kickstart SEO package?
    Kickstart is a bespoke SEO strategy package for small business owners who want to understand their SEO and action it themselves. It includes a full website audit, keyword research, on page SEO recommendations, a content strategy, competitor analysis, and a step-by-step action plan, plus two 30-minute calls: one to walk through the findings together and one 30 days later once you’ve started implementing.
    Who is Kickstart for?
    Kickstart is designed for female-founded, non-binary, and queer-owned service businesses who want a clear, doable SEO plan they can implement themselves. It’s particularly good if you’re a photographer, artist, illustrator, freelancer, or B2B consultant who knows SEO matters but doesn’t know where to start.
    How long does it take to deliver my Kickstart strategy?
    Depending on my availability, it takes four weeks from start to finish. I’ll give you a clear timeline once I receive your onboarding questionnaire, so you know exactly when to expect your strategy. If you have a deadline, tell me and I’ll do my best to work around it.
    What's the difference between Kickstart and Shine?
    Kickstart is a one-off package. I build your strategy, we go through it together, and then you go and implement it yourself. Shine is a six-month done-for-you retainer where I do the work alongside you every month. If you want to learn and do it yourself, Kickstart. If you want to hand it over, Shine.
    Which website platforms does Kickstart work with?
    Kickstart works across all major website platforms including WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Showit, and more. The strategy and recommendations are platform-agnostic. I’ll always tell you exactly how to action things on your specific platform.
    What happens after I receive my strategy?
    Once your strategy is ready we have a walkthrough call where I take you through everything, answer your questions, and make sure you know exactly what to do first, second and third. Then you go away and start implementing.

    Thirty days later we have a Q&A call by that point you’ll have started putting things into practice and will have real questions based on real experience, which makes that second call incredibly useful. After that the plan is yours to keep working through at your own pace.

    How much time will I need to put in?
    Less than you would otherwise would tinkering and wondering if you’re doing ti right. Because everything is bespoke and prioritised, you won’t be drowning in a never-ending to-do list. My guides and checklists make the implementation faster too, so you’re not figuring it out from scratch. If there are tasks you’d rather not do yourself, I can always quote separately for those.
    What kind of results can I expect?
    SEO is a long game. Anyone who promises you page one results overnight is selling you something. What Kickstart gives you is the right foundation, the right strategy, and the knowledge to keep building on it. Most clients start to see movement in their website traffic very quickly and increased rankings within a few months of implementing the plan.
    Is Kickstart worth it for a small business?
    SEO is one of the only forms of marketing that gets more valuable over time. Unlike paid ads or social media, the work you do compounds. A well-optimised page can bring in clients for years. Kickstart gives you the strategy to make that happen, for a one-off investment.
    Will you be available if I have questions after delivery?
    After your Q&A call the project is complete, but if you find you want more ongoing support you can always come back either for a refresh audit down the line or to explore whether Shine might be the right next step.
    Can I come back to you after Kickstart if I want more help?
    Absolutely. Some Kickstart clients implement their strategy brilliantly and come back six or twelve months later for a refresh audit to see what’s moved and what needs updating. Others decide they’d rather hand it over completely and move to Shine. Either way there’s always a next step available if you want one. No pressure, but the door is always open.
