And like that *poof* I launched a podcast!

I believe visibility is absolutely essential to making a success of your business. No matter if you are fully booked or have zero bookings, you need to be constantly reminding the right people you exist and that you are the right one to solve their problem. So, I started the brand new High Vis podcast because I believe there is so much to talk about with regards to being more visible. When I talk to clients and community I know that it can feel overwhelming on where to begin, on where to show up to get the results you desperately want and need.

What makes me qualified to talk about this with such passion and enthusiasm?

A few years ago I started a consultancy called Making Your Business Shine because that’s exactly what I love to do. I broke into the wedding industry back in 2012 and have since worked with hundreds of wedding pros, creative businesses and amazing entrepreneurs all over the world through my group courses and 1:1 programs to get more bookings through being visible. Whether it’s getting your website found on Google or knowing what on earth to say on Instagram Stories, I help creatives like you get visible and get booked.

Now, I wanted to make a big song and dance about launching this podcast because it is the very demonstration of being more visible. Of not being afraid to share my expertise, my experience, my willingness to serve my audience.

I mean, think about it, did Adele ever think ‘Hmm there are plenty of songs out there about love, I think I’ll just shut up?”

No, no she did not. See my point?

The fact is, we all need visibility

…to build our business and whether you like it or not you need to be reminding people you exist and show them that you are the right person to solve their problem.

Especially right now. (ugh, most overused phrase ever am I right? But it’s true!)

But the problem with visibility is that we’re all overthinking it. And that is where we’re going to begin.

Getting out there can feel overwhelming, knowing where to show up and how to get the results you want can be daunting and uncomfortable. Getting found on Google included.
